Escritorio Abril [rc.lua]


Ok llego la hora del rc.lua, la verdad no lo he modificado mucho, es bastante estándar; cabe resaltar que únicamente he hecho cambios al personalizar el nombre de los tags, hacer que se abran aplicaciones en algunos por defecto y he agregado las transparencias, que explicare a continuación pero primero el rc.lua:

bueno, algo que me dio problema al inicio fue ubicar por defecto aplicaciones en cada tag, luego en un foro encontré la forma de hacerlo correctamente;

cuando usamos la sentencia tag = tags [1][2] indicamos a awesome que abra nuestra aplicación en el segundo tag (que vienen siendo los escritorios virtuales);mientras que con la sentencia switchtotag = true le decimos a awesome que nos envíe automáticamente al tag cuando abrimos la aplicación.

Ahora bien, las transparencias de awesome se logran en el theme.lua agregando a la selección de colores AA al final, sin embargo la transparencia no es real, si usamos una aplicación de fondo como conky cuando abrimos una aplicación con transparencias, como la terminal, vemos como desaparece mágicamente el conky dentro de la transparencia de la terminal :( para evitar esto, necesitamos usar composite, agradezco a este blog el haberme ayudado a aplicarlo,entonces luego de aplicarlo obtenemos lo siguiente:


como se puede apreciar, aplicaciones que funcionaban únicamente con compiz, como los temas de gnome-do o avatn window navigator ahora funcionan perfectamente, el próximo post hablaré de idesk para implementar los iconos en el escritorio.
